Delta Tire’s Pothole of the Month

Pothole of the Month is BACK — and the asphalt assassins are out in full force. Whether they swallowed your tire whole or just rattled your soul, it’s time to give those craters the fame (or infamy) they deserve.
Submit your best (or worst?) pothole pic for a chance to win eternal glory and a new alignment from Delta Tire, located at 1000 Broadway Street in Quincy, somewhere in the mist of all those orange cones.
And just to keep things educational (because we care about your brains and your bumpers), here are 3 fresh pothole facts:
- There’s a Pothole Day in India — Yep. Bangalore celebrates “Pothole Day” every year to raise awareness and shame officials into action. Think of it as Valentine’s Day for your shocks and struts.
- NASA has pothole problems, too — Lunar and Martian rovers deal with wheel damage from space potholes caused by meteorite impacts. Earth potholes just charge us copays.
- Chicago once dropped 250,000 tons of asphalt in one year fixing potholes — that’s about the same weight as 42,000 elephants. And still, the potholes came back like it was a horror sequel.
So… what’s lurking in your neighborhood? Snap it. Name it. Shame it. These can be city, county, or state roads. The most “Likes” determines the winner, so be creative.
Congratulations to this month’s winner, Rose Amen Pillars for her photo of a concrete crater on 30th & College. We hope you enjoy your FREE alignment provided by Delta Tire. Looks like you’re going to need it if you’ve hit that hole!
