PITTSFIELD, Ill. — Saukee Nation recently presented the Pittsfield High School Drama Club with a $4,500 donation.

The Drama Club couldn’t put on their show in 2020, even though all of the items had been bought for the production. Last year’s show was done on a condensed schedule as well. This donation should help get the Drama Club back into more of a “normal” place moving forward. Plans are to use the money for costumes, set building, props and show and music rights.

People can support the Drama Club by attending its production of “Footloose” March 30-April 2.

Saukee Nation is a 501(c)3 organization that supports the extracurricular activities, clubs and programs at Pittsfield High School and Pikeland Community School. All donations made to Saukee Nation are tax deductible. For more information, email
