February Art Adventure scheduled for Feb. 7 at Hannibal Arts Council

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council continues Art Adventures, its popular creative project series, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main.

The February Art Adventure is a creative project for grades K-5. Participation fees include all supplies, an instructor and step-by-step instructions. Students in grades K-5 are invited to unleash their creativity and craft a sock puppet.

Stephen Schisler will be on hand to introduce the fun world of puppetry, sharing some of his own unique, handmade creations. With an exciting array of materials like buttons, yarn, googly eyes, foam, felt and much more, young artists will have everything they need to bring their puppet characters to life in the most imaginative way possible.
