Friends of the Carthage Public Library to offer after Christmas trivia night Friday, Jan. 17
CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Friends of the Carthage Public Library are offering the After Christmas Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 17, at First Baptist Church. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and trivia begins at 6:30 p.m.
This is a family-friendly event, and youths are encouraged to participate. Trivia questions will be about Christmas traditions, movies and songs. Mulligans will be available for purchase.
Teams are encouraged to decorate their table. Attendees will vote (with money) for the best table decorations. The winning table will receive five mulligans. An ugly sweater contest also will be held. Participants may bring their favorite snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The emcees for the evening will be Pastors Jerome Lee and Clark Irwin.
Teams registering by Wednesday, Jan. 8, will pay only $50 for a table of up to eight participants. Registration at the door will be $10 per person. People who do not already have a table will be put together to form a new team.
