Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood tribute duet coming to Legacy Theater on Saturday

CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Legacy Theater in Carthage brings a tribute to one of the top country duets in the nation with “A Night with Garth and Trisha” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Shawn Gerhard will portray Garth Brooks, and he will be joined on stage by Amy Pelton as Trisha Yearwood. Fans will hear all their favorite music from Brooks and Yearwood.

When not touring, Gerhard is in residence with Legends in Concert in Las Vegas. He has one of the longest continually performing Garth Brooks tribute acts in the world.

Pelton lives with her husband, Ryan, in Branson, Mo., and performs with Legends in Concert Branson. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Pelton has been performing since the age of 16 on stages throughout the world in musical theater, on cruise ships and in major production shows.

Pelton performed full-time from 1996 to 2008 as a singer and dancer for Legends in Concert both in Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach, S.C. During the past decade, she has performed backing and lead vocals with Ryan Pelton and The Difference as well as numerous production shows with Paragon Entertainment.
