HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council, in partnership with Robinson Outdoor, is accepting entries for the 10th annual Art in the Open billboard art competition through Tuesday, April 15.

This free competition is open to adults (18 and older) and youths (ages 8-17) residing within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. Participants may submit up to four digital images at no cost.

Winning entries in both the adult and youth divisions will be showcased on a Robinson Outdoor digital billboard in Hannibal, providing a unique platform to celebrate and promote local artistry. The competition is open to all creative disciplines — including visual arts, photography, writing, performing arts and more — highlighting the diverse artistic talent of northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

Artists, artisans, photographers, writers, actors, dancers and performers are encouraged to review the guidelines and participate.

Contest guidelines and instructions on how to enter are available at https://hannibalarts.com/gallery/art-in-the-open/.  Questions regarding the competition should be directed to the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or findit@hannibalarts.com.
