Hannibal Arts Council invites area artists to submit new work

Small Works

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council is looking for art submissions created by area artists.

Submitted works should feature small works of art, 12 inches by 12 inches or less (including frame) in its longest dimension. Any media is accepted as long as it fits the size requirement. The exhibit will be on display at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S Main, from May 26 to July 1.

Up to two pieces in any media category may be entered, 2-D or 3-D. Works may be submitted for the exhibit by professional and amateur artists ages 13 and older within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. There is no fee to include work in the exhibit. All 2-D work must be properly framed or ready for hanging.  Entries may be for sale.

Artwork may be dropped off at the Hannibal Arts Council from noon-5 p.m. on Monday, May 22, or Tuesday, May 23.
