Hannibal Arts Council invites area artists to submit new work of silos, steeples

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council is looking for art submissions created by area artists of silos or steeples or both.

Any media is accepted as long as it fits the current theme. Examples are paintings, photographs, sculptures and mixed media. The exhibit will be on display at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main, from June 3-July 16. 

Artwork may be dropped off at the Hannibal Arts Council from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday, May 30, or Wednesday, June 1.  One piece may be entered in any media category, 2-D or 3-D. Submissions will be accepted from both professional and amateur artists age 13 through adult who reside within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. There is no fee to include work in the exhibit and no size restrictions. All work must be properly framed or ready for hanging.  Entries may be for sale.
