HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council invites artists of all mediums to submit their works for an upcoming exhibition celebrating the enduring theme of “Life. Still.” from May 30-June 28. This is an open call for both new creations and cherished works, with a wide range of artistic expressions welcomed, including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and mixed media.

The only requirement for submission is that each piece must align with the theme, “Life. Still” — a modern exploration of a classic genre that has captivated artists for centuries. Whether capturing the beauty of everyday objects or infusing them with deeper meaning, artists are invited to share their interpretations of still life.

Artwork can be dropped off at the Hannibal Arts Council on May 27-28 between noon and 5 p.m. Artists may submit up to two pieces in any medium, 2-D or 3-D. This call is open to any artist ages 13 and up from within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. There are no entry fees or size restrictions. All work must be properly framed (if applicable) with wire for hanging. Artwork may be for sale.

Guidelines, exhibit details, artist registration form and artwork labels are available on the Gallery/Exhibit Opportunities page at hannibalarts.com. For more information or questions regarding this and other HAC programs, contact program coordinator Beth Hinton at bethh@hannibalarts.com or 573-221-6545.
