HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council is calling all artists to explore the beauty of contrasts through an exhibit that celebrates the interplay of black, white and every shade of grey in between.

Whether showcasing a new creation or submitting a beloved piece, the exhibit will welcome all forms of artistic expression — from paintings, graphite drawings and photographs to sculptures, mixed media and beyond. The only rule? Work should reflect the theme of contrasts in black, white and grey.

Artwork may be dropped off at the Hannibal Arts Council on Monday, Feb. 24, or Tuesday, Feb. 25, between noon and 5 p.m. Artists may submit up to two pieces in any medium — 2-D or 3-D. This call is open to both emerging and seasoned artists, ages 13 and up, from within a 50-mile radius of Hannibal. There are no entry fees or size restrictions. All work must be properly framed (if applicable) with wire for hanging. Artwork may be for sale.

Guidelines, exhibit details, artist registration form and artwork labels for this exhibit and other exhibits for 2025 are available on the Gallery/Exhibit Opportunities page at hannibalarts.com. For more information or questions regarding this and other HAC programs contact HAC program coordinator Beth Hinton at bethh@hannibalarts.com or 573-221-6545.
