Hannibal Arts Council K-5 art project on March 7 to utilize natural materials found outdoors

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council continues Art Adventures, its popular creative project series, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main. The March Art Adventure is for students in grades K-5. Participation includes all supplies, an instructor and step-by-step instructions.
Students will craft one-of-a-kind woodland creatures using natural materials they find in the great outdoors, from twigs and acorn caps to pine cones and seeds. The Mississippi Hills Master Naturalists will share fascinating insights into woodland habitats and introduce the creatures that call these forests home. It’s an opportunity to explore nature, learn and create.
