Hannibal Concert Association to present USO-style show Friday at Parker Theater

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Concert Association’s fourth concert of its 2024-2025 concert season is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the Roland Fine Arts Center’s Parker Theater on the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange University. The production is a USO-style show titled Letters From Home with a mission to honor veterans, celebrate people and unite through music.

For this concert, HCA is offering $5 tickets for veterans with veteran ID cards.

Letters From Home infuses the classic style of wartime music with a modern edge. Featuring high-energy singing and tap-dancing performances by​ founder Erinn Dearth and self-proclaimed “tall guy” Dan Beckmann.

The duo has performed more than 1,000 shows across the world, including singing at the 75th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France, entertaining Battle of the Bulge veterans in Belgium and completing their full 50-states tour in 2023.

Without a season or patron membership, tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students. Single tickets will be available at the door before the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. or may be bought online at https://hannibal-concert-association.square.site.
