Hawk Express Jazz Band to hold annual Christmas concert Tuesday in QU cafeteria

QUINCY — The Quincy University Music Department will host its Hawk Express Jazz Band Christmas Concert at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, in the Quincy University cafeteria, 18th and Lind.

The band will perform holiday music with a jazz twist including “This Christmas,” “Santa Rocks the House,” “My Favorite Things,” “Sleigh Full of Saxes” and a variety of other tunes. The band is under the direction of Christine Damm, dean of the School of Fine Arts and Communication.

The concert is free. An all-you-can-eat dinner buffet will be available for purchase at the door.
