MACOMB, Ill. — The City of Macomb recently announced the return of the Holiday Light Show at the gazebo in Chandler Park at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The show has been designed and coordinated by Macomb resident Monte Colley for the past four years.

Colley said eight new songs have been added to this year’s display. The music accompanying the show can be heard on 89.1 FM. The Holiday Light Show is available from 5 to 10 p.m. daily through Jan. 1.

“We are incredibly grateful to Monte Colley for his continued dedication in bringing this festive light show to life in Chandler Park,” Marketing and Downtown Development director Savannah Ballard in a press release. “Thanks to his hard work and creativity, we can share this special tradition with our Macomb community and visitors.”

The light show contains a sequence of flashing lights, which may affect citizens susceptible to photo sensitivities.
