Jazz studies department at WIU to be host of Battle of the Bands Friday night

MACOMB, Ill. — The Western Illinois University Jazz Studies Department, in partnership with the Music Business Department, will be the host of the Battle of the Bands for music makers of all genres at 7 p.m. Friday, March 31, in the University Union’s Heritage Room.
High school groups of any genre can enter to win cash prizes. The event is free and open to the public.
Additional sponsors of the event are Macomb Square Music Company and Sweetwater, of Fort Wayne, Ind.
