JWCC offering beginner salsa, merengue dance class starting Wednesday

QUINCY — John Wood Community College will offer two sessions of a beginner salsa and merengue dance class led by instructor Ignacio Anguiano-Reyes. No previous dance experience is needed. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of partnering, dance floor etiquette, timing and basic footwork.

The first session will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 23. The second session will begin Oct. 30 and continue on Nov. 6, 13, and 20.
