JWCC to present holiday concert in Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium on Friday

QUINCY — Audiences will be treated to a wide variety of holiday vocal and instrumental selections at John Wood Community College’s Fine Arts Department holiday music concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the JWCC Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium on the Quincy campus, 48th and Harrison.

JWCC’s concert choir, band and vocal show ensemble will perform an array of traditional holiday pieces and captivating scenes from beloved musicals. This event promises to be a musical journey through the festive season featuring the talents of the college’s students. Admission is free. Monetary donations will be accepted at the door, with proceeds going to support students’ musical tours and activities.

The concert choir and vocal show ensemble are under the direction of Steven Soebbing. The band is under the direction of Jessica Snider.
