HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main, will be the host of a second beginner-friendly crochet class with Grace Tate of Graceful Stitching Co. on Feb. 21 and Feb. 23.

The workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tate has been crocheting as a hobby for 10 years. The workshop will include practicing chain and single crochet stitches to create a bookmark with optional double-sided fringe.

The needed supplies are yarn (weight 3 or 4) and a size 5mm crochet hook. If a participant previously attended one of Tate’s workshops, the yarn and hook are the same. An optional item to bring is a reading book to gauge the desired length of your bookmark.

If participants do not have the needed supplies, supplies can be provided, including necessary hooks, yarn and any additional crocheting supplies needed to complete the project.

The class size is limited to 10 participants. The cost for the workshop is $10 (bring your supplies) or $15 (supplies provided). Registration is required. To register for the workshop, go to https://hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com, call (573)221-6545 or stop by the Hannibal Arts Council.
