Live dinner performance on April 2 to be inaugural event for Bay City Performing Arts Foundation

QUINCY — The Bay City Performing Arts Foundation will present its inaugural event, “Bay City Live!: Mamma Mia!”, at 4:30 p.m. April 2 at The Venue, 124 N. Fifth, featuring live dinner entertainment by Vancil Performing Arts Center’s Bay City Dance Troupe.

“Bay City Live!: Mamma Mia!” will be an opportunity for guests to enjoy dinner, themed drinks, a 70s dance party, and the magic of “Mamma Mia!” while supporting a great cause. 

Tickets can be purchased for $45 on Eventbrite (https://bit.ly/BayCityLive2022). People must be 16 years or older to buy tickets. No refunds will be given. Dinner and one themed drink are included in ticket price. All proceeds will directly fund the Frank Haxel Performing Arts Scholarship for students of all ages in the community. Costumes from the ‘70s era are encouraged, but semi-formal wear is suggested if opting out of themed wear. 

The Bay City Performing Arts Foundation was founded in 2003 by Cynthia Haxel. It is officially a registered 501(c)(3) organization. The foundation’s goal is to fund a performing arts scholarship for students in the Quincy area.
