Living Water to present three Christmas concerts, in Nauvoo; first one scheduled for Thursday

NAUVOO, Ill. — Living Water, a local worship band, will present three Christmas concerts at the Nauvoo Theatre in downtown Nauvoo. The first concert, a children’s concert, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19. The other two concerts will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, and at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23.

The program will use a mixture of traditional and contemporary music, scripture, lighting effects and images to focus on the heart of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. There is no admission fee. Free-will offerings are accepted.

Living Water is led by Michael Haas of rural Hamilton. Kris Knoke of Nauvoo and Amanda Greenhalge of Dallas City are the other members of the band. The concert is sponsored by Golden’s Point Christian Church in rural Hamilton.
