Local author to appear at Tucson Festival of Books on March 9-10
QUINCY — The Tucson Festival of Books, one of the largest literary gatherings in the United States, has announced the participation of Quincy author Ron Kinscherf in the Reimagined Indie Author Experience Pavilion.
This event will take place on the campus of the University of Arizona on Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and 10. Admission to the festival is free, offering a weekend of literary celebration for book lovers of all ages.
Kinscherf has been selected to showcase his literary talent in the Children’s Books category. His submission, the second book of his beloved Bakers’ Patio series titled “Flight School,” captivated the festival’s selection committee with its imaginative storytelling and vibrant characters.
Kinscherf will be allotted a three-hour time slot on Sunday to engage with readers and fans alike. Attendees can expect an immersive experience as he shares insights into his creative process and the inspiration behind his enchanting tales.
The Tucson Festival of Books, now in its 15th year, attracts nearly 150,000 visitors annually. The Indie Author Pavilion will feature talented authors from a diverse array of genres, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to discover new voices and literary treasures.
