PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Gem City All Stars, the senior cheer squad for Gem City Gymnastics and Tumbling in Quincy, took first place in Senior Level 2 Elite Division of the U.S. All Star Federation finals on April 9-10.

The Gem City All Stars, comprised of girls and boys ages 12-18, competed against four other teams in the Senior Level 2 Elite competition. The team qualified for the national competition by winning a regional competition in Springfield, Ill., in November.

Team members are Morgan Elston, Shelby Westhaus, Autumn Speckhart, McKenzee Mellon, Rylee Mellon, Elizabeth Drew, Jackson Thompson, Madison Kent, Abby Barnes, Sarah Shumake, Irelyn Plenge, Emma Wilson, Kadence Haskins, Madison Hochgraber, Millie Stewart and Elisia Dohman.

The squad is coached by Hope Huff and Ashley Schralla.
