QUINCY — Local author Robert Turek recently officially released his latest work, “Haunted Quincy,” a captivating dive into 25 true stories of eerie encounters, local legends and ghostly lore that haunt the river town’s history.

Turek, a lifelong Quincy resident whose family roots stretch back to the early 1800s, brings to light the haunted past of some of Quincy’s most iconic and lesser-known locations. From chilling whispers in historic mansions to shadowy figures roaming forgotten grounds, “Haunted Quincy” explores the energy and echoes left behind in buildings and streets generations have called home.

“Haunted Quincy” is available now on Amazon Books (https://amzn.to/43tZAHW) in paperback, hardback and e-book format. It will soon be available at Loyd’s Gifts & Collectibles, 504 Hampshire. The book will also be available to bookstores nationwide via IngramSpark distribution.

Turek has written “Colorful Quincy” and is behind the popular “Qcy From Above” Facebook group, which shares local history and modern aerial photography of Quincy.
