Mark Twain Chorale to present ‘As the Angels Sang’ on Monday

HANNIBAL, Mo. — After two years, more than 35 members of the Mark Twain Chorale are back singing and will present “As the Angels Sang“ on Monday, Dec. 12. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 111 N. Fifth.

The Mark Twain Chorale is a traditional community choir which has been providing Christmas and spring concerts for the community for more than 57 years. The As the Angels Sang concert will have Christmas music and carols emphasizing the angelic announcement of the Savior’s birth.

The chorale is conducted by Patrick Smith and accompanied by Naro Longchar.

There is no admission charge. A free will offering will be accepted.
