Nature program on Saturday at Hannibal Arts Council to allow participants to experiment with natural items

Hannibal Arts Council

HANNIBAL, Mo. — A nature program for the family, “Nature’s Ink,” will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Hannibal Arts Council activity room at 105 S. Main.

This program is co-sponsored by Hannibal Parks and Recreation, Hannibal Arts Council, Hannibal BASF and Mississippi Hills Chapter of Master Naturalists.

Local artist and Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalist Kim Caisse will share her expertise and insight as participants experiment with natural items like oak galls to discover what colors they reveal. Her knowledge of nature and human connections enhances all she does and increases the appreciation and learning experience of those around her.

Materials are provided. The program is for ages 7 and up, but anyone under age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration for the program is available through the Hannibal Arts Council website at hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com or through Hannibal Parks and Recreation website at https://hannibalparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program.
