Pairings announced for Hannibal Arts Council’s Bad Art by Good People program
HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Arts Council recently launched its sixth annual Bad Art by Good People program, which randomly pairs 10 local community leaders with 10 area artists and mentors to create artworks that will be sold to support the arts.
The title “Bad Art by Good People” is all in good fun, as the final creations — while humorously named —are expected to exceed expectations and may even surprise everyone. The pieces will be auctioned May 1, with all proceeds benefiting the Hannibal Arts Council’s programs. The program’s signature sponsor is Great Rivers Bank.
The team pairings for the 2025 Bad Art by Good People Art Auction are:
- Steve Ayers/Ayers Pottery – Dr. Michael Bukstein
- Lindsey Ayers/Ayers Pottery– Jason Meininger/Thompson Kane;
- Adriana Brown– Jen Hinds/Hannibal Regional Healthcare
- Carol Burns– Annie Massie/Smith Funeral Home & Grandview Funeral Home & Burial Park
