QUINCY — Quincy Community Theatre has announced its lineup of theatre education classes for the spring 2023 semester and the addition of an additional performance of Disney’s Moana, Jr. on Sunday, Feb. 26.
Six classes will be held for students ranging from 3 years old through adulthood. Each class aims to develop a specific set of skills, such as characterization, improvisation, teamwork, acting and script analysis.
“Our spring 2023 course schedule is packed with new content, new class times and even new instructors,” Director of Student Theatre and Head of Education Brendan Shea said in a press release. “Now’s the perfect time to give QCT classes a try, no matter what your background in theatre may be.”
Tuition ranges from $40 to $60. QCT volunteers may use accumulated credit from volunteer hours against tuition. Prospective students may also apply for scholarship opportunities with the organization.
