QUINCY — Quincy University’s Gray Gallery, located in Brenner Library, will host the art exhibition “Poured Acrylic Paintings” featuring works by Quincyan Nancy Vonderhaar. This free exhibition opens Monday, Feb. 20 through Friday, March 24 and is open to the public.

Vonderhaar, a Quincy native, started painting two years ago after she discovered the paint pouring technique.

In a press release, Vonderhaar said, “The science behind this technique is truly amazing. There are over 20 different pouring techniques. I have always been fascinated by the idea of people using colors to express their thoughts and emotions.”

She enjoys the feedback from people viewing her work as each sees something different.
