QUINCY — Quincy Art Center is inviting Artists and art collectors to submit artwork for its 100th anniversary exhibit, “Reflect on the Past, Engage with the Present, and Imagine the Future.”

All artwork will be accepted, and it’s for art collectors as well as artists. All art mediums are welcome, and a written statement or story about the artwork to accompany the artwork in the gallery is encouraged. It is free to enter artwork.

In a press release, Jennifer Teter, executive director and curator, said, “With it being our 100th anniversary, we wanted to host an exhibit that would engage the community in a way that juried exhibits don’t. We are excited to see what people submit for this show.”

The exhibit will be on display from May 27 through July 29, and an open reception will be held on May 27.

More details about the exhibit can be found at quincyartcenter.org under the “Exhibits” tab.

The Art Center is open Wednesday – Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. For more information, visit quincyartcenter.org or call 217-223-5900.
