QUINCY — The Quincy Art Center is seeking local high school students and 2023 graduates to apply for three paid summer student employee positions through our Illinois Arts Council Summer Youth Employment in the Arts Project Grant. There are two education assistant positions and a marketing sssistant position.

Applicants should be interested in pursuing careers in the visual arts and/or marketing and commit to the entire nine weeks. The student employee positions are scheduled for June 5 through Aug. 4 at 10 hours per week. Compensation is $13 per hour.

Students who participate in this program will gain valuable knowledge about the functions of a nonprofit organization from the lens of art education or marketing.

This project is funded by the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
