Quincy Art Center to offer music trivia night Saturday

QUINCY — The Quincy Art Center will hold a music trivia night beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Quincy Art Center, 1515 Jersey.

Teams of eight will compete in “name that tune” style music trivia, with money being raised through entrance fees, second chances known as “mulligans” and raffle tickets. Tangerine Bowl has donated prizes for the winners.

When asked why she wanted to bring music trivia to the Quincy Art Center, Alta King, director of development, said in a press release, “There are certain people around the community who look forward to music trivia every year. There is a friendly rivalry that is a lot of fun.”

Funds raised from the event will help to provide scholarships for area students to take art classes and art supplies for the Art Center’s free Family Art Day program.
