Quincy Catholic Charities to hold ‘Band Together’ fundraiser Saturday in Mount Sterling

MOUNT STERLING, Ill. — Quincy Catholic Charities will be the host of a “Band Together” fundraiser from 4-11 p.m. at The Sportsman’s, 111 N. Capital, in Mount Sterling on Saturday, May 20.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with food by JR Parn. Providing music for the event will be by Carol Jean and Jera and also Memphis Mafia. Other activities will be a raffle and a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $10 at the door.

In a press release, Kevin Williams, area director of Quincy Catholic Charities, said, “In the last year, we provided food to nearly 400 people and helped with medications and counseling in Brown County. We look forward to bringing this event to Mount Sterling.”

Programs offered by Quincy Catholic Charities are professional counseling solutions, intact family services, MedAssist, food pantry, mobile food pantry and legal services.
