Quincy Community Theatre announces auditions on May 9-10 for summer musical, ‘Jersey Boys’

QUINCY — Auditions for “Jersey Boys” will be held Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at Quincy Community Theatre.

“Jersey Boys” is a Tony Award-winning musical sensation that brings the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to the stage. Discover the story of four guys from Jersey who became an international pop sensation. Featuring unforgettable hits like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and more, Jersey Boys takes viewers through the triumphs, heartaches and sheer magic of a group whose songs defined generations.

QCT is seeking a diverse cast of performers aged 18 and older. All roles require strong vocal ability, and many will require movement or dance skills. Character descriptions and requirements are available on QCT’s website. “Jersey Boys” contains mature language and themes. Performers are encouraged to review the content prior to auditioning.
