“Waitress” tells the story of Jenna, a gifted pie maker and waitress who feels stuck in a small town and an unhappy marriage. When an unexpected pregnancy throws her life off balance, Jenna fears she might have to give up her dream of opening her own pie shop.
Her journey takes a turn with the announcement of a baking contest in a nearby county and the arrival of the town’s charming new doctor. With the support of her quirky fellow waitresses and loyal customers, Jenna discovers the courage to take control of her life and create her own recipe for happiness.
Featuring an original score by Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles, “Waitress” is filled with humor, soul and the power of resilience.
