Quincy Community Theatre production of ‘Cinderella’ to kick off holiday season in December

QUINCY — The cast for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” that will perform on the Quincy Community Theater stage recently was revealed.

This musical retelling of the classic fairy tale features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most memorable music, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”

The cast is comprised of:

  • Mindy Holthaus as Stepmother
  • Jeremy Kurfman as Christopher
  • Adrienne Fisk as Grace
  • Jeanette Soebbing as Joy
  • Cyra Peters as Young Grace
  • Brigid Murphy as Young Joy
  • Andrew Billgri as Father
  • Trey Ehrhart as Lionel
  • Gretchen Wolfmeyer as Queen
  • Mark Snider as King

“Cinderella” is under the direction of guest director/choreographer Alison Shafer and assistant director/stage manager Drew Quintero.

“Along with the ‘Cinderella’ company and production team, I am incredibly excited to bring this sweeping, enchanting story to QCT’s stage,” Shafer said in a press release. “Delightful musical numbers, endearing characters and a beautiful message of kindness and respect make this a wonderful production for the holidays. “

Discovery Night for ‘Cinderella’ will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at QCT. The free event will give participants a view into the production process, along with discussion and a Q&A session. Immediately following the Friday, Dec. 13, performance, will be a Q&A Talk Back session with the cast and crew.

Performances are set for Dec. 5-8 and Dec. 12-15 at Quincy Community Theatre. Flex season ticket holders may reserve their tickets starting Oct. 31. General tickets go on sale Nov. 12. Seating is reserved.
