QUINCY — Tickets are available for Quincy Community Theatre’s 100th anniversary gala fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 22. The event will celebrate the theatre’s past, present and future during the event. Funds raised will support QCT’s commitment to high-quality theatre entertainment and education.

In a press release, Executive Director Burgandy Hill said, “In September 1923, the first call went out to create a Little Theatre in Quincy. In the century since, QCT has created an incredible legacy of performing arts in our community. This event will celebrate that legacy.”

The formal event will include dinner and a special one-night-only performance of Dream Roles Reimagined and QCT’s 2024 season announcement. The performance will feature many familiar faces performing their favorite Broadway numbers with a twist.

Alison Shafer will serve as director/choreographer for Dream Roles Reimagined.

“I love the variety of songs, production numbers and performers — returning and new — that we have pulled together, and we are building a show specific to the talents of these performers,” Shafer said. “You can expect to hear phenomenal singers and see amazing dancers in what, I think, will be an extremely entertaining, celebratory evening.”
