Quincy Concert Band to present concert Sunday at Congregational Church

QUINCY — The Quincy Concert Band will present a concert at Congregational Church, 12th and Maine, beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 30, as part of the Sunday Music Series.

Ensembles from the band have organized five different groups. Included will be a trio of flute, oboe and clarinet, and a quintet of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn. 

Three sections of the band have organized choirs of their instrument, which means that within the clarinets, saxophones and flutes, those attending will see all sizes from piccolo size to contrabass instruments.

Trent Hollinger of Culver-Stockton College is the director for the concert.
