Quincy native to be host of stand-up comedy event Saturday at Maverick’s Landing

QUINCY — Maverick’s Landing, 500 S. Eighth, will be the site of a stand-up comedy show Saturday, Dec. 2. Comedians performing will be host and Quincy native Richard Bailey, Ryne Thorson, Kody Freeman, Quincy native Seth Reed and Larry Smith from NPR’s “Convince Me.”

In a press release, Bailey said, “It’s always great to come back to do shows for Quincy. Always great audiences. Each comic has a unique style, and it feels great to be able to bring them to a place that doesn’t get enough stand-up comedy, in my opinion.”

General admission tickets may be purchased online at https://app.promotix.com/trade/select-tickets/Gem-City-Winter-Comedy-Show-tickets?embedded_to_iframe=true for $10 or at the door for $20. VIP tickets, which provide seating closer to the stage, are available for $30.

Doors for the show will open at 6 p.m.
