Quincy Public Library virtual reality exhibit, ‘The Journey Back,’ available through Aug. 24
QUINCY — The Quincy Public Library presents “The Journey Back: A VR Experience,” an immersive virtual reality exhibit on loan from the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. This exhibit, available until 3 p.m. on Aug. 24, offers visitors a way to engage with Holocaust history through technology and storytelling.
The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center advises that the virtual reality technology featured in “The Journey Back” is not recommended for children 12 years old and under. At the Quincy Public Library, the exhibit is available for visitors aged 13 and up.
“The Journey Back” takes about 20 minutes to complete. For additional information about the exhibit and to make reservations, contact the library at reference@quincylibrary.org.
