QUINCY — Quincy’s first Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at 516 Maine. This event will benefit the Quincy Children’s Museum.

Soup, snacks and beverages will be provided. Instead of an admission fee, there will be a free-will offering basket for the museum. No advance registration is required.

In a press release, Quincy mayoral candidate Linda Moore said, “We have designed the afternoon to be a lighthearted, fun time for everyone. We hope to see lots of families and children of all ages. This is a fun way for me and my team to give back to our community. We hope this will be the first of many annual tournaments.”

“Our organization is thrilled to be the recipient of donations from Linda Moore’s upcoming Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament,” said Amy Peters, executive director of Quincy Children’s Museum. “The Children’s Museum works every day to provide joy and engagement for our community’s youngest residents, and we are so appreciative of the support.”

The tournament is sponsored by the Committee to Elect Linda Moore 4 Quincy. All proceeds will go to the Quincy Children’s Museum.
