Spring concert by Mark Twain Chorale to be presented Monday at Fifth Street Baptist

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Mark Twain Chorale, Hannibal’s community chorus, will present its spring concert titled “Songs of Spring” at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 28, at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 111 N. Fifth. The chorus is directed is Allen Means and accompanied by Alyssa Pyne.

More than 30 singers will perform a variety of musical genres for all ages. Songs of faith include “Be Thou My Vision”, “I Sing Because I’m Happy”, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “To God Be The Glory”.  The Chorale will sing show tunes including “Any Dream Will Do”, “How The West Was Won” and a medley of Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway hits.

The Mark Twain Chorale has entertained Hannibal audiences for more than 60 years. Admission is free with a free-will offering being collected.
