St. Francis Solanus School to present ‘The Enchanted Bookshop’ musical on Friday, Saturday

QUINCY — St. Francis Solanus School will present “The Enchanted Bookshop” musical at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2, and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, in the St. Francis Solanus school gym, 1720 College.

Characters from treasured children’s books will come to life in this song-filled and joyful production directed by Jane Ann Petty and assisted by Josh Crowl. 

Admission is a free-will donation, with concessions being sold at intermission. People should enter the building through the north doors on College Avenue.

The play is sponsored by Arts Quincy, Petty Carpentry, Maas Construction, State Street Bank, MS Communications and the Allison Holbrook Memorial Scholarship Fund.
