Ten performers named to cast for QCT production of ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’

QUINCY — You know them, you love them, and now you’ll see them live, on stage at Quincy Community Theatre this February!

The gang’s all here as Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts characters come to life in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” a joyful, Tony Award-winning musical that will be live on stage at Quincy Community Theater in February. Join Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally, and Snoopy as they navigate their daily struggles with humor, charm, and song while learning what true happiness is all about.

A cast of 10 talented performers will sing and dance their way into your hearts. The cast consists of:

  • Conall Wolfmeyer as Charlie Brown
  • Anna Hampsmire as Sally Brown
  • Caleigh Twaddle as Lucy Van Pelt
  • Quinton Miller as Linus Van Pelt
  • Jude Steiner-Haubrich as Schroeder
  • Jada Penick-Fonza as Peppermint Patty
  • Thalia Wolfmeyer as Marcie
  • Lexi Mero as Violet Gray
  • Simon Bruening as “Pig-Pen”
  • and Riley Holthaus as Snoopy.

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is under the direction of Brendan Shea, director of student theatre, with vocal direction by Susan Job, assistant vocal direction by Daxtun Heier, choreography by Drew Quintero, scenic design and technical direction by Seth Campbell, costume design by Sam Hayes, and stage management by Cathy Gooding.

Individual tickets to “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” are $15 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 10. Performances are Feb. 3-6. Seating is reserved.

For those who want to dive deeper into the story and the production process, QCT will be the host of Discovery Night at 6 p.m. Jan. 24. This free one-hour event invites the audience backstage to take a look at the process of bringing this story to life. See the costumes, set pieces, hear from the director and designers, and watch a portion of the rehearsal. RSVP on QCT’s website to attend this event. 

Audiences are invited to continue the conversation and meet the cast with a question-and-answer session immediately after the performance on Feb. 4. The Q&A also will be streamed live on the QCT Facebook page.
