Third annual Metal Fest featuring tributes to Black Sabbath, Limp Bizkit coming to Maverick’s Landing Zone on Aug. 3-4

QUINCY — Midwest Monster Promotions will be presenting the third annual Metal Fest Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3-4 at Maverick’s Landing Zone, 500 S. 8th.

Attendees will hear performances of both tribute acts and local talent. This event will feature a tribute to the legends of metal, Black Sabbath, alongside a high-octane homage to rap-metal pioneers Limp Bizkit.

This two-day extravaganza also will showcase the talent of local Midwest bands. From up-and-coming acts to established favorites, these bands will add their unique flair to the festivities, ensuring a diverse and electrifying lineup that truly represents the breadth and depth of our local music scene. 

Cost for the two day event is $20; a one-day pass is $15. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with music beginning at 2 p.m.
