Two Quincy Notre Dame students named All-State musicians for Illinois Music Educators Association

QUINCY — Two Quincy Notre Dame students recently were named as Illinois All-State musicians as a result of individual auditions held in October throughout the state.  The students will perform in Peoria during the Illinois Music Educators Association annual conference on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1.

Cayson Peters, a senior, is a son of Tyler and Bryn Peters.  He sings bass in the QND Concert Chorale and Men’s Glee. He was selected to sing in the All-State Honors Chorus.

Elizabeth Strieker, a senior, is a daughter of Tom and Kim Strieker. She sings alto in the QND Concert Chorale and Women’s Glee. She was selected to sing in the All-State Chorus.
