Two-session Arty Party for holiday clay trees begins Wednesday at Hannibal Arts Council

HANNIBAL, Mo. — A two-part Holiday Clay Trees Arty Party will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, and Nov. 29 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main.

Rebecca Butler from The Budding Artist will lead participants in a two-part Arty Party creating festive and unique holiday trees with clay techniques. At the first session, participants will create their slab-pottery tree(s), then glaze them during the second session.

Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Cost is $25 per person for the general public and $20 for HAC members. Participants can construct additional trees for $15 each (payable at time of event). Arty Party programs are open to people age 13 and up. They are designed for people looking to have a good time with good company while creating art. Come with friends or make new friends. Participants can bring snacks and beverages (optional). HAC provides all project supplies, step-by-step instructions and a project leader.
