Waters and Wyatt win at IAAF Talent Contest
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Macy Waters and Avery Wyatt both of Pittsfield won the Senior Division of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs’ State Talent Contest.
The girls represented Calhoun County after winning the fair’s local competition in September. The talent contest was held on Saturday, January 13 at the annual IAAF State Convention in Springfield.
Both girls are competitive dance students at Ashley’s Dance Company in Barry. Waters is 15 and a freshman at Pittsfield High School and Wyatt is 16 and is a sophomore at Pittsfield High School.
Both girls are previous Junior Division winners of The IAAF State Competition. They performed a jazz dance duet to “Never Had A Friend Like Me” to take the title.
