Wrapped in Love event on Dec. 11 to use scraps from QCT fabric shop to create quilts

QUINCY — Quincy Community Theatre wants to put its fabric scraps from the costume shop to good use this winter with its Wrapped in Love event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at the theatre, 300 Civic Center Plaza.

Scraps will be turned into quilts for people in need of a warm blanket with which to sleep. No sewing skills are necessary, but if you have a sewing machine to bring, space will be provided. Participants also are welcome to bring fabric scraps from home to contribute.
