Young Masters exhibit at Hannibal Arts Council showcases creativity of junior high, high school students

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The annual Young Masters exhibit, celebrating the artistic talents of local students, is on display at the Hannibal Arts Council through April 29.
The exhibit will culminate in two special award nights to honor standout student artists. The first event, recognizing 5th and 8th grade participants, will be held on Monday, April 28, followed by a second evening dedicated to Hannibal High School students on Tuesday, April 29. Both events run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with award presentations beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Each night will feature HAC Select Award presentations with additional honors presented by the Hannibal High School art department for high school participants.
This year’s Young Masters exhibit is supported by the Riedel Foundation, General Mills Hometown Grantmaking Program, the Community Foundation of West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri and the Hannibal Arts Council in cooperation with the Missouri Arts Council.
Visitors can view the exhibit during regular gallery hours: from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
