54th annual Holiday Gift Show kicks off holiday season Nov. 19-20 at Oakley-Lindsay Center
QUINCY — The Quincy Service League will hold its 54th annual Holiday Gift Show from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.
This year’s Holiday Gift Show will have more than 75 booths and vendors offering a variety of gifts. Items available include ornaments, lotions, clothing, food, home décor, stationery, jewelry and artwork.
Entry tickets are $2 in advance or $3 at the door. Breakfast tickets are $10, which includes early entry to the show. The show is free for children under 5 (no strollers please). General admission tickets and breakfast tickets can be bought in advance from a QSL member, on location at Brown Drug, Kirlin’s (Quincy Town Center), Domestics Etc., Yellow Kiss Boutique and Sew in Style Boutique or by emailing qslgiftshowtickets@gmail.com.
Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance this year from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The Quincy Service League is asking people who would like to take their child’s picture with Mrs. Claus to either bring $1 or one canned food item per child. You may take as many photos as you would like with your own device. Donations will be given to local food banks for distribution.
Quincy Service League desserts such as Italian Crème, Red Velvet and Hummingbird cakes will be available during lunch and throughout the show. Quincy Service League cookbooks will be available for $10.
The Quincy Service League enters its 84th year of community service with outreach projects such as RIF (Reading is Fundamental), Meals on Wheels, Chaddock, Monotones, Student Mentoring, The Family
Dinner Project, QSL Shoppe and various other community organizations. The Holiday Gift Show has enabled Quincy Service League to give more than $100,000 in grants and scholarships during the past several years to the surrounding community.
